Sales Account Manager

Job description

We are an established company of over 30 years who operate throughout the UK and Ireland. We are seeking highly enthusiastic sales people to mainly generate new business whilst retaining existing relationships with existing clients.

We are seeking a candidate with strong sales and industry knowledge/experience within the EPOS industry with strong knowledge of retail and hospitality. These are the key markets the successful applicant will be selling EPOS hardware, kiosks and accessories into whilst building an internal relationship motivating staff members and executing strategic sales approaches to exceed targets.

Essential skills/knowledge;

  • Evidence of creating and growing sales to the benefit of a business
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining client relationships in retail/hospitality, or EPOS systems
  • Looking for someone with EPOS, Kiosk, and IT sales experience
  • Good understanding of business development performance drivers
  • Can demonstrate a track record of producing and delivering a growth strategy and sales plan
  • Build and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers and key business stakeholders.

Responsibilities include;

  • Seek out new business opportunities within defined guidelines and timescales
  • Deliver consistently against targets
  • Build, manage and maintain a substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities to underpin target achievement
  • Ensure that all pipeline activity is accurately recorded and updated within CRM
  • Thoroughly research and understand individual market sectors to identify potential customer targets
  • Accurately forecast sales by month and quarter
  • Demonstrate company product and services suite clearly and differentiate the company offering within the market
  • Successfully position company solutions within the context appropriate to the specific client or sector, utilising Value Based arguments and Consultative Sales Engagement
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms as required and in line with company guidelines
  • Ensure all customers receive a professional handover between Sales and Service/Support

Desirable skills:

  • Demonstrable track record closing complex solution sales
  • Background in EPOS, Payments, Loyalty, Hospitality, and Retail sectors
  • Background and understanding of the target market segment
  • Experience selling at senior management and business owner level
