The WAP200′s RangeBooster technology doubles your wireless network range and reduces the “dead spots” of a standard Wireless-G connection using two receivers at each end to detect and decode reflected signals at distances where standard technologies give up.
This Access Point features advanced wireless security using Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA2) with up to 256-bit encryption, and wireless security monitoring to protect businesses.
The WAP200 Wireless-G Access Point can connect Wireless-G (802.11g) or Wireless-B (802.11b) devices to wired networks so devices can be added to the network with no cabling hassle. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support makes it easy to install, it can be mounted on a wall or desktop, even without ready access to a power plug. With appropriate PoE support at the other end, you need to run only one cable to the access point to deliver both data and power. The AC adapter is included if power is available nearby. The integrated quality of service (QoS) features provide consistent voice and video quality on both the wired and wireless networks, enabling the deployment of business-quality voice over IP (VoIP) and video applications.
Additional features like multiple basic service set identifiers (BSSIDs), wireless roaming, and auto-channel selection, make this solution ideal for all business requirements.
